Tavistock United Reformed Church saw its very first same sex marriage this month when Catherine Peck and Ellie Spicer were joined by friends, family and supporters from the local congregation to declare their love for each other and swap marriage vows.

Over 70 people attended our celebration. A collection was taken for Embrace the Middle East Olive tree project at the service and when added to the amount collected at a showing of a film about Gaza we are able to send £420 to plant 28 olive trees.
