Over many years and in different counties across England, I have enjoyed the annual ‘Ride or Stride’ Sponsored Event in September. This year I intend to raise funds again for Devon Historic Churches Trust, by cycling round to 12 churches on 12 September. If you would like to sponsor my attempt I would be most grateful, one thing I have discovered is that there are many more hills in Devon than there were in Berkshire! Stella Rasdall is joining me on the day with her electric bike, if you would be interested in cycling (even if just for a short section) please do get in touch. Covid-19 may have prevented many congregations from using their buildings but as we know only too well, the maintenance of historic churches is an ongoing challenge.
