At the dawn of this Pride Month, we pause to give thanks—For the radiant beauty of all Your children,For the diversity You wove into the very fabric of creation,And for the courage of those who live their truth boldly,even when the world has not always embraced them.
We celebrate the LGBTQ+ members of our church family,whose presence enriches our community,whose gifts bless our ministry,and whose dreams inspire our shared journey toward justice, mercy, and love.
Lord, in this sacred space,we strive to be the Church You envisioned—a sanctuary where all are welcomed,all are affirmed,and all are loved without condition.
Help us walk in the footsteps of Jesus,who broke barriers, shattered shame, and sat at tables with the outcast.
Help us speak with voices of compassion,stand with hearts of courage,and dream with imaginations shaped by hope.May this month be a time of joy, remembrance, and renewal.May our rainbow of community shine with Your divine light.
And may we continue, as Your Church, to open our doors wide—until every person knows they are home.
