Tavistock Food Hub Opens

Tavistock Food Hub formed from a partnership between Tavistock Area Christians, Feeding Devon and Cornwall Food Action , opened its doors for the first time on Wednesday 20th July at Kings Church.

The aim is to reduce food waste at the same time as feeding those people in Tavistock who are struggling with the increase in living costs.

            Membership is free for those who need to use the food hub and there is a food hub supporter’s membership for those who wish to reduce food waste, also free. If you need to choose between heating or eating or know someone who does please come along. There is a warm welcome for everyone and free drinks and yummy cakes.

In change to our events our Lunchtime Organ Concert on Saturday 25th July will now be given by Gabrielle Lewis. This Concert will be free although we are pleased to receive donations to Christian Aid, our last concert for this chosen charity,
